Professor Ward spent much of his career at Tougaloo College and is Professor Emeritus from Dillard University in New Orleans. Cleo Thomas, Jr. is an accomplished and prominent attorney from Anniston, Alabama. Among many distinctions, Thomas served as the first African American president of the University of Alabama's Student Government Association. He is also a graduate Oxford University and of Harvard Law School.
