This film features a Model 'M' Stanley steam car, renovated to pristine working condition by 'Boot' Goold. Along with family and friends he took the car on it's maiden run through the Mendip Hills to Cheddar Gorge one Sunday last year. I took the camera along to record the event and got to chat to Boot about the trials and tribulations of steam renovation.
This film won the 'Best Short Film' award at the Somerset Digital Arts Festival 2009. The judge was UK film director Edgar Wright (Spaced, Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz). It was also awarded 'Best Short Film' at the Hamstone Film Festival 2011.
