Artist Kelly Walters gives the rest of the world the opportunity to see the world as she does. Diagnosed with Epilepsy, Kelly’s brain transmits sights uniquely. In her work, she tries to depict what she sees by focusing on layering the paint to allow light to pass through differently than our eyes would perceive the actual object.
“I’m realizing other people aren’t seeing that, so I put that into my artwork to give them that experience… So it’s really interesting to see how our artwork really reaches out to touch people.”-Kelly
