Not So Elementary, a new report from the Center on International Education Benchmarking (CIEB) at the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE), looks at how top-performing education systems ensure that their elementary school teachers have deep content knowledge in the subjects they teach.
NCEE president Marc Tucker interviews report author Ben Jensen and moderates a panel of leading U.S. teacher preparation experts on the current state of the U.S. teacher education and how lessons from the top performers can be applied in the U.S.
