The Research Lifecycle at UCF (RLC) was created to illustrate the research process, highlight campus-wide support services, and identify unmet needs. This session explores the development of the RLC, provides an in-depth analysis of the graphic created, and explains how the RLC contributed to the developing Scholarly Communication model at UCF. A review of steps taken to vet the RLC with faculty and other campus units emphasizes outcomes such as building stronger relationships, as well as highlighting spinoff projects. A broad assessment illustrates how the RLC is being used today at UCF and other institutions and look back at what has been accomplished over the past 5+ years.
