Illegal immigrants arrive in boats on the shores of the Canary Islands almost daily. They come in their hundreds in small vessels that were made to hold only a handful of people.
Those who survive the perilous sea crossing can look forward to a lengthy incarceration in the Island's migrant refuges. Most are processed and sent back to their country of origin but some manage to stay and even integrate into Spanish and European society.
This feature documentary follows a group of landed young immigrants as they await their fate in the hands of the Spanish government on the island of Gran Canaria.
60 minute feature.
