Learn how to break through the emotional and physical boundaries of “fear” and embrace enthusiasm and possibility again. Particpants will learn 14 different "fear buster" interventions that will leave them with a new sense of positiveness and ready to make the impossible, possible. Identify how “fear” and “stress” can create emotional and physical roadblocks that prevent stories of possibility. At the end of the course participants will be able to list and regularly implement 14 different “fear buster” interventions to help maintain positive energy and enthusiasm on a regular basis, and author their own story of success. Participants will be able to discuss how managing fear, stress, and other negative roadblocks in positive ways helps to increase overall satisfaction and happiness, laying a stronger foundation for possibility.
anea Miller is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State. Lanea graduated with B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. She has provided thousands of hours of individual, couple, family, and group therapy throughout a variety of different community settings for the past 10 years. In addition to her private practice, Coloring Possibilities, Lanea is currently working at two different community clinics as a Behavioral Health Specialist with low income families. She has facilitated many different trainings and groups on narrative therapy, increasing positive self-esteem, and motivation. Lanea has also co-hosted the radio program “Talk Therapy” on 1180AM KLAY. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
