I created this film during Strictly Seattle 2016. It began with a longing to inhabit a huge Douglas Fir tree in Seward park that had been hollowed out by fire many years ago. The film became a story about a creature who inhabits the tree when she feels the call to explore the forest beyond. The dancer is dressed completely 'in place' with plant materials found on location at Seward Park in Seattle, WA; no convention make-up was used.
