Vasetti is part of Neuf experimental film group installation at Geddes Gallery London, July 2016.
We have created a group show of films installed throughout the space in response to the former store. Drawing on personal memory of the shop, the history of the area and responding to the building in the wider context of fast changing Kings Cross and more significantly, recent political events.
Vasetti is a series of films placed in jars on a shelf. Each film talks about continental food, continental etiquette and uses archival footage of local people and particularly focuses on the amazing character of Leo Giordani who set up the store.
