This little video show my work in progress on rigging and weighting a cartoon Alien in Cinema4D. I modelled him in Silo3D and then textured him with Photoshop and ZBrush.
I'm relatively new to rigging in C4D so it a little experimental and I've been learning from a number of people/sources (Steve at Sparklevfx, Wipix vids, Cactus Dan, Andreas at 3DAttack forums etc.) So far, I'm loving the workflow and the hierarchy setup, very simple, expresso is simple when you get over the initial hurdles. I love how everything is handled with tags.
Lots to do but I've learned so much in just two weeks.
