Welcome! This Monday Lunchtime concert featured the oboists of the Woodwind Department at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. The performance involved all of the talented senior oboists, some friends from the Junior Academy and two distinguished players from Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Emannual Laville (Section Principal) and Zoe Kitson (Principal Cor Anglais).

Please enjoy this diverse programme, which takes you on a journey through the centuries to showcase the oboe in its many guises. Leading the trip is the tireless Captain Stephen West, who has prepared and rehearsed the ensembles and appears in this film as Guest Conductor.

So pack your bags and get ready to join us on this, our 'Oboists'Holiday!'
