Create your own art wonderbox with electronics! Find out how in this short video of our first workshop at the Mill Valley Library, where a dozen kids and their parents created their own Halloween Wonderbox in October 2015.
In this two-hour workshop, students learned to build miniature worlds with animated characters — then light them up, make them move, play sounds and tell their stories. This hands-on activity invites children to learn by doing, in a playful way that engages all their senses and puts them in charge of their own learning.
This fun and educational program combines art and technology to help children ages 8 and up develop new skills in playful ways: science, technology, engineering, art and math skills (STEAM); creative expression, communication and social skills.
Developed by Fabrice Florin and friends of Pataphysical Studios. Associate teachers include Jean Bolte and Natalina Frederick. Edited by Michael Fasman and Fabrice Florin.
