A short documentary about a video installation in 2010.
The projections focus on the fate of the Berlin Christmas trees after their disposal in the winter streets.
The artist Natalia Irina Roman from Bucharest filmed abandoned trees from 2007 to 2010 and created this site-specific installation with 4 projectors and 6 television sets in a conceptual building called "Plattenvereinigung". Old concrete blocks from East and West Germany have been rearranged into this unique mini-house.
Musicians played for the vernissage in an old industrial AEG hall that is now used by the Technical University Berlin.
