Plotted over a few weeks, and conceived in one night somewhere in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, the Bored of Art Basel alley gallery is exactly what it sounds like: a temporary installation of paper and paste and copier ink. As curators (and directors of material hauls and late-night bike rides), the Bored of Directors handpicked submissions for the gallery from a small selection of Denver-based artists. A borrowed cooking pot, dollar-store buckets and broom handles, and a pair of fingerless gloves were also ruined in the making.
Participants include Sandi Calistro, David Coccagna, Milton Melvin Croissant III, Katrin Davis, Tony Farfalla, Tuyet Nguyen, Chris Van Nguyen, Zach Reini, and Matt Scobey.
