RTF 344M: Assignment 4
Everything was drawn on Illustrator. I wanted to play with stuff I drew myself on the computer because I was tired of cutting alpha in photographs. Very tedious! However, because I created my own images I came across other problems.
I had problems messing with the time controls because each part of the "giraffe" is a separate layer. I tried to keyframe the wiggler tool so that I could make the giraffe's movement seem more clumsy. I couldn't figure out how to apply it to the already existing keyframes, but I think it has something to do with me using the trial version of After Effects and not the actual one. Or maybe I was just using it the wrong way.
What I ended up doing was pre-rendering the background, then pre-rendering the giraffe and tree as a separate composition, then combining the two. Animating the giraffe took SOOOO LOOOOONG to do. But I'm proud of it. It looks really cute.
