The World AIDS Museum is proud to present: "Tapestry: The Faces of AIDS. Ed Sparan is a member of the Board of Directors of the World AIDS Museum (WAM) and is responsible for overseeing the Arts and Entertainment components of the Museum. He grew up in New York with a background in the theater, Ed was part of the first group in New York City making quilts in the early 1980′s for what was to become the AIDS quilt. While living in San Francisco, he was the artistic director of the Persons With AIDS P.W.A. Theater. After relocating to South Florida 20 years ago, Ed applied his talents in producing many fundraising events. As an activist, performer, artist, playwright and director, he is proud to be a part of The World AIDS Museum and to express his personal experience of being HIV positive through the creative arts.
