The Curves of the World is an ambitious exhibition program curated by Mette Woller presented by CHART ART FAIR.
With an inspiration in the Science-Fiction genre CyperPunk, the program hacks into the system of CHART to investigate its structure and Nordic identity.
The Curves of the World examines parallels between the futuristic cooking manifestos of the 30s and the New Nordic food traditions. By sampling CyperPunk with Futurism, Viking traditions with Sci-Fi, fetishism and pop culture The Curves of the World fuses the past and the present to suggest a positive future.
The prophetic voice of the exhibition offers a suggestion of futuristic potentiality that flips and reverses its apocalyptic origin.
The exhibition consists of a physical exhibition, a performance program, and a talk program taking form as a TV-Kitchen show.
