Talks given to the Society for Popular Astronomy on 30 July 2016. Robin Scagell looks at the movements of Mars and Saturn over the next two months, and at the prospects for the Perseids. Ian Morison shows some of the summer sights, including the North America and Pelican Nebulae and the Coathanger Cluster, and suggests a star trail project. Richard Fleet describes results from his all-sky camera, including a bright fireball last March, and photos of noctilucent clouds. Finally, Robin returns to encourage people to look at the Lagoon Nebula, M*, in the summer Milky Way.
