It's hard to put into words the adventure I was recently fortunate enough to go on, and certainly, a picture can paint a thousands words, but seeing things in motion is believing, and it can put you right there. In this short movie you'll see a bunch of the amazing sights I witnessed, I saw so much in those short two weeks my mind almost exploded, hopefully when looking back in a number of years, this video will be a great reminder of my trip, and of the wonderful people, tastes and sights I've experienced.
My first time in Asia, first holiday alone, first time seeing and climbing an active volcano, first time wearing a gas mask, first time camping (if school doesn't count) first time making a production of this scope alone and with minimal equipment and preparation, first time swimming in the sea and snorkelling, and I'm sure there are many, many more first times, some which I'm not brave enough to mention *ahem*
Even though this tour was focused on photography, it was a lot of work preparing both photos and movies, often rushing to get the quick shot before we moved on, if I could go again, I'd spend a little more time preparing the video shots, but that is what practice and experience is all about - it was surprisingly challenging both physically and mentally. I can't wait to go on my next trip, where I can hopefully 1 up the production quality and storytelling.
Extra special thanks to VolcanoDiscovery and Galih for putting together this wonderful adventure, If anyone makes it to the end, thanks for watching and feel free to share.
