Thought you had to head to the Highlands to see stunning wildlife? Well, think again! As Diane Bennett from the Tweed Valley Osprey Project explains, the Tweed Valley is full of natural riches throughout the seasons.
Originally from Wirral, Diane has now made her home here in the Tweed Valley, and there can be few people more passionate about the wildlife and landscape found all around.
Diane is project officer for the Tweed Valley Osprey Project – a conservation success story that sees a partnership between the Forestry Commission, Tweed Forum and Kailzie Gardens. Designed to offer protection for these vulnerable birds while also providing expert interpretation for the public, the project has excellent viewing facilities at Glentress Forest and Kailzie Gardens.
Visit Tweed Valley would like to thank Diane for sharing her Tweed Valley story.
