i wanted to see what the act of writing looks like, so i did some screen recordings and sped them up. this is a final paper for a class i didn't want to take, about how i didn't want to take it. (i'm an nonfiction writing student in an MFA program.) there were a few tweaks on the day of class that weren't recorded.
the paper itself is just the next thing i had to write. i was really interested in documenting the writing process in its rhythms and stages. watching it now is eerie. not only is this how i write, but it looks like how i edit myself when i speak too.
i wonder how this would look for others. if you make something similar, leave a note so we can compare.
the first minute or so is sped up to 16X, and after that it's all 64X.
