Filmed during the Winter Solstice 2010.
It was a very cold, somewhat windy night.
The sensors on my camera kept reajusting the focus, especially when clouds would pass by.
I did not expect it to last several hours.
As opposed to solar eclipses which usually last a few minutes, a lunar eclipse could be a several hours event,
At one point when the moon was totally covered in shadow, it was paradoxically easy to see. It had a nice, reddish tone, almost as if looking at Mars...
