I chase severe storms in the USA and back home in Victoria and sometimes in NSW. Supercells and the rare tornado are the pinnacle of stormchasing but these storms offer so much more. I love the power, the size and the beauty of these storms and photograph and video them in great detail.
There is nothing like being up close to one of natures masterpieces, a supercell in the middle of nowhere with no-one else around. It's the greatest experience!
My website thunderhunter.com is currently under repair but will be back online in 2011 where my images and video will be displayed.
In the meantime, any queries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Victorian storm chasing season this year has been simply incredible.
25+ storm days, 20+ chase days including at least 12 supercell days!
After years of drought in the south, moisture has returned and combined with favourable wind shear and timing of troughs and fronts, our weather has finally turned it on!
Since August alone, I have 1000's of high res images and 20+ hours of HD video of this incredible southern season.
So grab some popcorn and a drink, sit back and enjoy this digital photo compilation.
