Maria Popova, curator extraordinaire of brainpickings.org, asked me to create a visualization of the top 10 stories on her site from 2010.
Given the fairly shallow data-set (URLs, #s of reads), I decided to get a bit gratuitous and build an animated (and astronomically inaccurate) visualization that showed every single read of every single article.
It's worth noting that I built this while on holiday in Northern Alberta. Two feet of snow as far as the eye can see!
