ACL injuries can be devastating to any athlete! Some of these injuries, unfortunately cannot be avoided (for example, when an athlete's knee is contacted). However, something CAN be done to reduce the risk of injury from the non-contact variety of these serious injuries. The Sportsmetrics ACL Injury Prevention Program was developed to address these types of injuries. This program was researched and designed under the guidance of physicians and healthcare professionals at the Cincinnati Sportsmedicine Research and Education Foundation and has been shown to significantly reduce the risk of Non-Contact ACL Injuries. This short video illustrates how we at LEC Fitness, LLC conducts this testing and how it leads to our subsequent training to address both reducing the risk of these injuries, or to assist in the training after one has occurred.
