Rendered incorrectly and the audio was not in sync.

Wanted to do an audio test with my new GH2 to find the best way to capture external audio directly to the camera using the hardware that I have available.

I tried three methods:

1. Rode Video mic plugged directly into the camera using a cheap 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter from Radio Shack

2. Zoom H4n plugged directly into the camera using a Sescom 3.5mm to 2.5mm line to mic cable and using the stereo onboard mics from the H4n.

3. Audio Technica AT835b shotgun mic connected via XLR input to H4n, which is connected to camera in the same manner as method #2.

Any input, feedback, suggestions or opinions is greatly appreciated. I'm by no means a "sound" guy so I really don't know which would be the best setup. I know none of these insure proper capture since there is no way to monitor the audio directly. At least you can see the mic levels moving on the LCD so you know that SOMETHING is getting in....

Thanks for watching!
