Jean-Luc Ayroles presents his new album with one of the greatest masterpieces for piano from Olivier Messiaen. This brillant solist was noted for his performance of Messiaen's complete Vingts Regards sur l'Enfant Jésus and Trois Petites Liturgies in 2004. For him, Messiaen's music perfectly expresses the emotion of wonderment which gives us the right to believe in ourselves. He said: "These Vingts Regards make me delighted because there is something in this music which stands against some suffering that we all have." Messiaen fascinates his musician's spirit, mostly thanks to the orchestral sound, the light singings of birds, his relationship with nature.
