I am currently working on a project that I have been thinking about for a long time; a documentary delving into the various fishing methods around the world. After spending many summers up in Alaska commercial fishing myself, I wanted to try my hand at other methods, in other countries to see how the fishing in Alaska compares and contrasts both methodically and culturally.
This is just a quick glimpse of my time here in Egypt documenting on board a Marcab, or sail powered boat on the north coast.

This clip in particular revolves around one of the stormiest days they had seen in over 50 years. The closest town near the fishing port, Alexandria, had been turned upside down over night. Needless to say, it was a day to remember.
