During Claus Cornelius stays in Venice in the 1970s, the Venetian musician Guido Toffoletti often goes by his studio to play guitar sessions. An afternoon of the year 1999 Claus Cornelius went to Copenhagen central station as usual to buy the Italian newspaper where it came to light that Guido Toffoletti died on 22 August 1999 due to bicycle accident. The article on the newspaper was the inspiration to write the song Road to Fate.
