"Human" premiered as part of the "Poetry in Motion" festival in Tübingen, Germany in March 2016. The piece looks at how the past is always present and how memories live with us each and every day. Choreographer Deliah Seefluth asked the dancers to connect to their own history and experience in order to generate movement material. The composition was also created using Xavier Velastin's musical memories repositioned and layered over each other to mirror this connection in time. Through a dialogue between Deliah, Xavier and the two dancers Dimitra and Cherry, sound, movement and personal experience fused a piece of past in the present.
