This last 2010 year the violence in my home town Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico has been worse than ever. Many families could not gather together this Christmas because of the fear of being assaulted on highways and streets. Organized crime is doing everything possible to control society.
This is a short story of my Dad and how we celebrated Christmas this year.
Shot for the fourth Philip Bloom’s weekend challenge. It was a lot of fun.
Thanks to my Dad, Juana, my mom, my wife Karla and my youngest & talented brother Victor (victorhs.com) who composed the music and also couldn’t come to Mexico to celebrate Christmas.
Main story shot in black & white with green filter.
