"Reflecting and Reminiscing" paints a loving portrait of the great jazz vocalist and pianist Shirley Horn, from her quaint family life in Washington D.C. to the bright lights of Las Vegas, where the previously unreleased "Live at the 4 Queens" (Resonance Records) was captured on May 2, 1988. Resonance producer and fellow Washington D.C. native, Zev Feldman, takes us on a journey through the 4 Queens recording, along with a cast of colleagues, friends, family and admiring scholars near and dear to Shirley Horn.
