Humans wandering the threshold between unapologetic existence and an abyss of lunacy find their camp amongst washed out gutters, crinkly beauty pageants and ceremonies performed for nothing and nobody. It's a mythic, hairless underbelly of a place. An echo of Christian talk radio is muffled by an incessant rubbing of fir needles. Unapologetic lunatics find their camp and worship it with every shot of a BB and final breath of a deer, sounding almost like a hymn. Their church is hidden from most somewhere too deep to follow unless you own a good pair of boots and know a guy. It's too cold here, but everyone is sweating. Insects find themselves in cages, and the younger someone is the more likely they are to die. Come worship the glow of the last gas station and don’t forget a flashlight.
