The temporal organization of a sequence can be graphed as a curve where the abscissa represents the time, measured in frames, and the ordinate represents the disequilibrium of the corresponding frame. A frame has a high disequilibrium level if its graphic or visual structure contains a high degree of information compared to immediately preceding frames. This video is based on a further layer of processing, where the entropic envelope of the film is subjected to a Discrete Fourier Transform. The temporal curve is thus transformed into the frequency domain. Successive frequency representations are presented together. The one corresponding to the current frame is shown up front. This visualization expresses the temporal variation in the frequency content of the video.
