My first flight in the snow and how hard it was to get any judgment of hieght when all you can see is snow. This is the second time I have flown at this site, which is in the middle of know where. I got quite a few drop outs which im putting down to this site. Crash at end was due to switching back to normal view, I was going to land via goggles but just couldn't judge hieght well enough because the snow and when I switched I hadnt realised a basic mistake of my oreintation so when I tried to correct the drift I simply made it worse lols. I have now completly reset the heli and moved the video tx closer to the body and made a new video antenna extention which is fixed to the tail fin. The heli now balances perfectly and I have also altered all throttel and pitch curves to suit. Im hoping my alterations wll give me a much more stable platform without the need to add so much trim to balance her out. Tests will continue.
