The concept of “Yellow Cake” derived from the famous “Black Bush” skit from Chappelle’s Show. In a scene from the skit where Dave is playing a black version of former president George W. Bush, he quickly dodges a reporter’s question about issues involving proof that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, insisting that the media is foolish not to believe him. After which, he warns that “they went to Africa and they bought yellow cake” – instantly frightening the crowd as if IT was a weapon of mass destruction.
The depth in concept of this skit is the very depth in concept of this song.
Marco is welcoming accusation that he has “Yellow Cake” (his consciousness and enlightenment being the “Yellow Cake”). Furthermore implying that he is more than likely a target for possessing “Yellow Cake”
If he drops it, it could mean danger.
In the hook, Marco incorporates quotes from the skit, using his own name/alias (Oon). This song serves as a PSA to “majority” America.
