My family went on vacation to Colorado. While there we climbed to Liberty Cap on the Colorado National Monument. The 'Cap' is about 1200 feet above the valley floor and the trail is only about two miles to climb it.
My father-in-law is a great sport and came along.
As you'll see in the video, the wind was howling. After we came down, we heard news reports saying the wind was about 50 mph with gusts as high as 70. But even with the wind, it was a great hike with a superb view from the top.
