Chris' hand translation dominates the I.C. flow in this cast so the I.C. is out of frame when his angular rotation velocity is small.
This interplay between translation and rotation of the rod causes some wild variations in the I,C, path until he aggressively starts to rotate the rod to reach his maximum angular velocity value of 830 deg/sec.
When the rods rotation is large the I.C. flow remains below his arm, which indicates the translation of the hand is still significant around the MRF point.
