The first in series of commercials for UK bedroom retailer Dreams. This is part of a whole campaign we've conceptualised, designed and produced for Dreams.
The concept we drafted for the campaign was that of a sleep aid voice over (voiced by the great Richard Briars!) which would guide our sleep deprived character to Dreams. Here they find all the solutions they need for that illusive night's sleep. As the character drifts off he dreams of going to Dreams, where the bedroom and most notably the retro wallpaper begin to shift and change into the dreamers guided perception of Dreams. We wanted to play with the concept of visualising someone's dreams, guided by the descriptions of the sleep aid tape, as well as how dreams are often augmented perceptions of our everyday reality.
The animations were built using Maya and After effects and finished off by Nick Croft and Paul Strouds fanatastic musical score.
