41° 46' North is a short film about the making of Ryan v The White Star Line, directed by Kilian Waters. The piece is taken from Simon Quigley's album Gross National Happiness. It features Simon on Piano, Martin McCann, Vocals, Clare Kavanagh, Soprano and a String Quartet. The piece is about Thomas Ryan from Askeaton in Limerick who sued the White Star Line for the death of his son Patrick on the Titanic. Thomas won the case in the Royal Courts of London in 1913 and this still had impact in 2013.
