Thomas, trentenaire, est ingénieur du son. Sa passion : réaliser des portraits sonores. Figé dans le souvenir d’une liaison amoureuse, il vit reclus dans son studio d’enregistrement.
Quand Amina, jeune femme solaire, s’impose dans sa vie et livre son histoire, elle apparait comme un sujet de portrait rêvé.
Pour savoir qui elle est vraiment, Thomas devra tendre son micro, de la banlieue au Maroc, et réapprendre à écouter.
