A film about a social animation workshop and its associated puppet performance that took place in Kinshasha, Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2011. The Director of Puppeteers without Borders, Erica Sapir, worked with a local group of actors in Kinshaha to create a short puppet performance about the ills that beset Congolese society. Puppeteers without Borders is a non-profit organization of artists who use puppets to animate communities. The stories we tell ourselves create our identity and the aim of Puppeteers without Borders is give people in disadvantaged communities the opportunity to tell their stories.This film is by Heinz Cadera and Nathalie Vincenti.
