Set a crittercam in a fruiting pear tree looking north over goldenrod to Allen Creek, Buckland Park, Brighton, NY. Over 7 days, several recognizable deer returned often, but new individuals kept appearing right through the end of the week. I think there’s about 100 deer per square mile in this area. None of the bucks appeared older than 4 years—somewhat puzzling since this is an essentially unhunted population. This video is composed of about 25 clips of 10 seconds or less, and runs about 4 minutes.
