The Barber of Birmingham follows Mr. James Armstrong, an 85-year old African American barber in Birmingham, Alabama and a proud civil rights veteran, as he sees his unimaginable dream come true.
Mr. Armstrong's barber counter was re-created true to form, filled with the ephemera and barber tools that he surrounded himself with. The title typography is indicative of the hand-painted sign that graces his shop window, a perfect melding of typography and environment.
