Ekta Parishad organised a foot march from Kosi ( Flood affected in August 2008) to Saharsha, Bihar
Even after six months of the disaster the government has not done anything for the villagers, so to draw the attention of the government and also to create a pressure on the government Ekta Parishad decided to do a foot march to raise the voice of the suffering people. The foot march took place in 26th February 2009 from Virpur Supol District and ended on the 5th March 2009 after covering a distance of 135 KM in Saharsha District of Bihar
