September 25, 2008; 9:13 P.M. - Interesting dynamic between Pie and little sister Gracie.
Karmically speaking, Pie was born kind of an angry, negative child. She was a screamer and cryer, and I'd say a little violent. She's turning out very well, though, thanks to the heaps of love and attention my cousin Audrey gives to her. Audrey's punishments, as far as I witnessed, were often, if not always, followed by compassion and teaching.
Gracie, 4, was born a blessed, harmless angel of a soul. Very sweet, if not a little self-possessed, however she had to suffer Pie's wrath. She's still harmless, but she's very naughty and very self-possessed. Gracie's at a stage where she wants a part of everything Pie does, or she gets jealous or envious.
So on her birthday, Gracie tells Pie several times that they can blow out the candle together, but then she jumps to blow it out first. She knows she just did something naughty, so when their father re-lights the candle, Gracie is quick to re-start the song to make everything right. But, man, look at how Pie blows out the candle. She's doing her best to control her negative karma.
