At Manna House homeless refuge, a volunteer was opening up for the evening meal when police without a warrant searched the property for a homeless man. Police apparently got mad when the volunteer told them they did not have permission to enter. The volunteer, John Holle, then noticed six police officers arresting a homeless man down the street. Police then arrested Holle and Paul Garner as he sought police badge numbers and car IDs. Police confiscated phones from both men and took them to jail, where they spent about 12 hours before charges of "disorderly conduct" and "obstructing a highway passageway" were dismissed.
