(USE FULLSCREEN and HD!) Snow looks so much better that way :)
It started snowing late on Sunday the 9th and it started coming down a bit harder than is usual for Chattanooga. After tossing and turning in bed for a few minutes I decided to get up (this was around 1 in the morning) and drove to downtown Chattanooga.
The roads were ridiculous. The plows either hadn't woken up yet or were just not able to keep up and there were wrecks happening both in front and behind me. It was quite comical actually (I know, I know).
This video was shot with my Canon 5D Mark II, the 85 f/1.2L, 50 f/1.8, 24-70 f/2.8L, and the 70-200 f/2.8L. Sadly I was out there alone so I couldn't carry much support gear with me (tripod etc.). The video is a tad shaky at times but I did my best to hold the camera as still as possible in the cold, and standing on shifting snow didn't help either.
Shooting in the snow was a little more challenging than usual. I had to wipe down the lens and camera constantly, and luckily the camera/lenses/camera bag are weather sealed so it made me feel a little more at ease.
I parked my car and walked around town instead of driving everywhere and ended up finally getting home at 6 in the morning. There were quite a few more shots that I wanted to get but that was it for now.
Thanks for reading and watching, enjoy!
PS: The song is "Out of the Box" (remixed by Ulrich Schnaus)
