Shot on the last day of my trip back home for the holidays to the states. The conditions were terrible (for both surfing and shooting), but we decided to head out regardless.
This is the first video of some 70gigs worth of footage I collected while there with the new camera (not sure how much of that will eventually see the light of day). I've only owned the camera for a few weeks now, but I'm quite content with it so far despite a few short comings. It being my first "video camera" I can't really complain though.
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G (decent results considering the cheap plastic lens that it is, hard to avoid camera shake though considering how lightweight it is, not to mention using a stills tripod).
Edited in FCP with additional grading in After Effects (mostly exposure correction, contrast curves and a vignette here or there, out of camera results were pretty good to be honest, just hard to keep from overexposing a little without some kind of LCD screen shade/hood... the glare is killer at times).
