The City of Shasta Lake held their annual State of the City luncheon Oct. 5. The video, produced by Ron Harrington and the City of Shasta Lake, covered not only what’s been happening with the City of Shasta Lake, but also with local law enforcement, the Shasta Lake Fire Protection District and Gateway Unified School District. In addition, there are segments on the Bike Beautification along Cascade Boulevard, this year’s Boomtown Festival, plus a songwriting contest for the City of Shasta Lake that resulted in a song for the City entitled “Reclamation Town” by Jonathan Foster.
